Our team is growing! We are now looking for another Software Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and development of software systems on behalf of our clients.

You will be responsible for ensuring any assigned project work is delivered on time and to a high standard and play a key role in demonstrating software solutions to your team members and clients. This is a remote role with UK working hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To architect, design, and implement complex software systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.

• Determining the structure and design of web pages, optimising for speed and scalability.

• Maintaining high quality code.

• Identifying and resolving coding problems.

• Adapting architectural designs and implementing design patterns to support solution development.

• Identifying and rectifying security weaknesses within project solutions, ensuring source code, configuration, and systems are kept secure.

• Line management of offshore team members, ensuring alignment on project goals, technical standards, and delivery timelines while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and effective communication across time zones.

• Providing technical leadership, guidance and mentoring to junior developers across the business.

• Promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the development team.

• Leading on client projects as and where required.

• Staying informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, educating more junior team members where appropriate.

• Supporting the implementation of new technologies that enhance our service offerings.

• Working closely with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to define software requirements and project scopes.

• Working closely with cross-functional teams, including project management, quality assurance, and operations, to ensure successful software delivery.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience operating as a full stack developer.

• Experience in designing and developing Responsive web apps.

• Experience in designing and developing RESTful API web services.

• Understanding of key design principles.

• Experience with object-oriented development.

• Proficiency with the C# server-side language.

• Proficiency with the .Net server-side framework.

• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.

• Proficiency with TypeScript frameworks such as Angular, React.

• Experience with responsive and adaptive design.

• Proficient with Database technology such as MySQL, MS SQL Server, and MongoDB.

• Proficient with Unit Test and Mocking frameworks such as NUnit, XUnit, Moq.

• Proficient with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Excellent verbal communication skills.

• Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.

• Experience leading a team of software engineers.
